The Infant building and Nursery remain open.
We have requested an engineer to attend as soon as possible , but have not been given a time for this . Hopefully the heating will be fixed today to enable the Junior building to reopen tomorrow (9.2.21). We will keep everyone updated.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
A letter to parents and carers from Mrs Glass including information about remote learning.
Please see the link below outlining where children can get flu vaccinations ( nasal ) if they missed out getting theirs at school last term . Year 4 were isolating at home on the day when vaccinations were given in school, however all primary age pupils are entitled if they didn’t get one first time round for any reason.
School will be closed to all pupils including vulnerable and children of critical workers due to heavy snow and unsafe conditions on the roads resulting in insufficient staff being able to get to school to allow safe opening .
All learning will take place online today.
School will re-open to vulnerable and key worker children on Monday. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Please find the letter from Mrs Glass below on school/home learning arrangements from Monday 4th January.

Please read the government guidance below for who qualifies as critical workers and the attached application form for school places.
Completed forms should be emailed back to school at:
Vulnerable pupils ( those with a social worker) can also attend school from tomorrow.
Due to concerns around increases in national and local coronavirus transmission rates, teaching and support staff are taking action following advice from their unions and professional associations. School will therefore be open from Monday January 4th 2021 ONLY FOR THOSE CHILDREN OF CRITICAL WORKERS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN . All other children will move to remote (online) learning from tomorrow. This position will continue for two weeks initially.
I can only apologise for the late notification of this information , however schools and head teachers were only notified last night. I will be posting a longer letter on the school website and emailing to parents to expand on the information above later today.
Good advice for parents and children!
