**Important changes to Breakfast Club from January 2020**
We have sent a letter out tonight with pupils outlining the changes we are making to our two breakfast clubs, starting next term.
From January , breakfast club will cost £2 per session, per child ( £10 for the full week). Unfortunately there will be no reduction in price if children arrive later in the session. Rising costs have meant we can no longer offer the club at £1.60 , which has been in place for some time. We still believe that the new price offers very good value for money.
If you have any queries regarding breakfast club next term, please get in touch with Mrs Simpson or Mrs Johnston at the school office.
Christmas dates – updated
Our latest newsletter December 6th 2019 has all the details for parties and performances – which start next week !
KS1 visit Bowburn Methodist Church
Children from KS1 were invited to Bowburn Methodist Church. Members of the Church told the children about the significance of the Advent candles and read the Christmas story. The children then took part in a Christmas craft session making cards before being treated with a biscuit and juice!
Namaste!
Thanks to generous funding from the British Council, Mrs Fay and Miss Jarvis were able to continue our Connecting Classrooms partnership by visiting Gladstone Academy in Nepal.
A recount of their visit, many photos and some videos will soon be available on the Connecting Classrooms page in our Community section!
Advice on Infectious Diseases 26.11.19

Friendship Day Autumn Term
Autumn Term Friendship Day began with a special assembly led by Mrs Glass and Mrs Foster.
Mrs Foster talked about the importance of being kind, caring, sharing and friendly to everyone.
As always, each class teacher chose one pupil who had been a special friend to everyone to receive the Friendship Award.
