School will close to ALL pupils ( including for those of key workers and in vulnerable groups) on Wednesday 15th July 2020. This will give two days for staff training and for preparing classrooms for re-opening to pupils in September.
Pupils already attending in the priority year groups ( N, R , Y1, Y6) and those of key workers can attend that week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday instead of their usual days.
For those children who haven’t been able to attend school this term, we look forward to welcoming you back in September ! We await detailed guidance from Government on what this will look like, hopefully this week , but will keep you updated. Keep checking back here and our Bowburn Primary School Facebook page for latest news.
In the meantime, staff will continue to post activities for home learning in the Our Classes page of the website up to the end of term.
End of year reports have been completed by staff for all children in Reception to Year 6 and will be emailed to parents/carers before the end of term.
A number of parents and children have asked about who their child’s teacher will be from September. We are currently finalising staffing for next term this week , so I will update everyone with this information in the next week or so.
School will be closed over the Summer Holidays and will reopen on Wednesday 2nd September 2020.
Thank you for your continued support, stay safe.
