Just a few of the amazing letters Year 4 received from Palais School in Diepenbeek in Belgium.
A few years ago, Bowburn Infants took part in a British Council Comenius project with this school and we have remained in contact ever since.
Year 4 wrote letters describing what life is like for them during lockdown and these children replied in both English and their own language.

As part of our ongoing International School Award, the whole school took part in a series of activities to celebrate Chinese New Year.

A special Chinese themed school lunch was made to accompany our Chinese New Year celebrations!
The children enjoyed a choice of rice, noodles, spring rolls and sweet and sour!
Chinese New Year – The Year of the Rat
Continuing our Chinese New Year celebrations, the Outreach Team from the Oriental Museum in Durham, came in to school to work with Nursery, Reception and Year children. Stories, craft and drama made their visit to school a really fun and informative day.
