You will probably have seen the Prime Minister’s address to the country last night on the possible ways to start the easing of the lockdown. In the address , he mentioned the potential for some pupils to return to school, perhaps as early as June 1st.
You will doubtless have many questions about this , and what it means for you and your family.
Like everyone else, I have also just heard this information. There was no clear or detailed guidance on how this will work in reality; this will hopefully come soon from Government and the Local Authority. I want to reassure you that in whatever we are asked to do, the health, safety and well being of the children and my staff will be paramount.
Meanwhile, nothing has changed and we await the next steps as outlined by government. All of the measures the PM announced last night are dependent on wider things, such as the infection rates falling across the country etc.
As soon as I have any further information to share with you , I will do so.
